		<description>I&#039;m not sure of your time frame. These people may be too contemporary for you, but stylistically they seem appropriate and may be worth your time to look at.

Tasha Tudor, who does not always focus on animals, but does so beautifully, at times, and Jan Brett, whose illustrations are marvels of detail.

 There are at least two more who are eluding me, if I think of them I&#039;ll edit. It sounds like a nice project. Good luck.</description>
