If that isn’t working you need to get him antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection.. You can take him to the vet or if you are low on money you can call the vet and ask for antibiotics for a bunny cold.. Also with bunnies they go down hill very quickly when they are sick.. You don’t have much time to get him help before he gets too sick to help..Good luck.

The vet will prob. tell you anyway, but I’ll let you know what my vet told me. Small animals, espically rabbits have very sensitive respitory systems. The wood chips that are sold in almost all store, including pet stores should be outlawd. They are made with chemicals, and scents that can make them very sick if not kill them. Get only natural wood chips, or other pet litters that are not scented, or powdery. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

You really don’t want to mess around with this especially if you have other rabbits. The big worry is Snuffles. A friend of mine had a rabbit that came down with it and had atypical symptoms so even if you think your rabbit does not show the classic signs of Snuffles (Pasturella), see your rabbit vet to get your rabbit tested. Your vet may prescribe Baytril. Disinfect EVERYTHING with Vanodine a few times during recovery. I always use it liberally.

    Best wishes.
